First of all, freakysnots already made a thread about this and named it, very appropriately, Overall Rank Bug. Had you looked, you may have seen this had already been addressed.

In any case, I wouldn't worry about it too much because I think your overall rank will lower, it will just never match the rank at the top of the page. And I have to assume the rank at the top of the page is BS anyway because a few people have reported it giving them a rank 1 up there.

If your rank actually ISN'T LOWERING, then sorry, I'm wrong, but I'd give it a few games, chances are you just actually haven't been going down in rank.

Quite frankly, the overall rank thing is ****ed up.

Mine's been going haywire. Its different at different computers (and not just from people overtaking me, i mean like in the 1000s), it doesn't match the one at the top, and it goes UP when I go and FC Less Talk More Rock.

I'm not worried though. Synth/JasonKey/LD/Guido will fix it. They're a good bunch.

I have the same problem also.
On the home page is says 1229 the in game score says 1334. So i dont know

my overall rank at the top of the page says a lower number than on the acual profile.

why is this and when im in game every time i end a game my rank should deplete BUT it doesnt go down at all

its not only rank, it also isnt updating your aaa's and fc's on your profile

I had that FCs thing for a bit but my AAAs haven't been effected.

Are you doing level rank? Type in the URL for FFR followe by /levelrank.php

That should update the FCs and AAAs.

im not calling you a liar or anything i am having the same problem but

i fc less talk more rokk 3times before my rank even went up one

it just depends on how far away you are from the next guy in overall rank

i think its hardest to rank up once you get to the 6,000-5,000 and then anything below 2,000

I just did an update to get grandtotal and the rank fixed in the header.

Please let me know if we are now reading things correctly up there for you guys.

i think its hardest to rank up once you get to the 6,000-5,000 and then anything below 2,000

As an aside, you rank up pretty much every single song you play right up into the top 2000, there aren't sizable gaps in score until close to the top 1k people.
