And the technique he also refers to is what I call overlay-setup, using more than one finger for a given arrow key. I actually found it to have a hindering effect for the trill, but maybe I just need a better keyboard. I predict that overlay setup is only any good if you can fit your fingers on the keys, and if the keys are low-height and exceptionally springy.
I might also add that I actually screenrecorded many runs and actually found that my combo was MUCH better on the megatrill when I switched hands. I'm right-handed, and the left side of the trill is a lot harder to get through due to the one-frame jack. It's further down and therefore you need to be able to maintain high speed for a longer duration, so you should attempt to use your dominant hand. I've gotten it down to ~2 misses this way on a few lucky runs.
