I hate CP. I comboed both bursts ...ONCE... then missed a few notes after. I got mad and booed out then I was more mad because I probably lost a top 200 rank.

Hate to say this but I managed a month or 2 to not combo the bursts, yet get top 60 on CP due to good PA. So you would of sadly had good rank.

well, you'll tend to either get 497-8, 503-4ish, or somewhere around 740, so if you beat your combo you'll see a huge rank jump.

@rubix, yeah...mashing the living **** out of them and playing the song 3-10 times a day also help

It is technically possible to combo the trill.....Rubix made a detailed description of it using SS of it on 3x.
At one point during the 64th note part, one note becomes in the same frame as another one (on opposite arrows) leading to a 1frame jack and a jump.
So you need to be insanely fast at jacking.
And hit way early.

Or you can double setup on the arrow keys (2finger per key)
It's legit.

He is referring to http://aycu26.webshots.com/image/289...9371593_rs.jpg which I made using screenshots from CP runs on 3.0x.

And the technique he also refers to is what I call overlay-setup, using more than one finger for a given arrow key. I actually found it to have a hindering effect for the trill, but maybe I just need a better keyboard. I predict that overlay setup is only any good if you can fit your fingers on the keys, and if the keys are low-height and exceptionally springy.


I might also add that I actually screenrecorded many runs and actually found that my combo was MUCH better on the megatrill when I switched hands. I'm right-handed, and the left side of the trill is a lot harder to get through due to the one-frame jack. It's further down and therefore you need to be able to maintain high speed for a longer duration, so you should attempt to use your dominant hand. I've gotten it down to ~2 misses this way on a few lucky runs.
