Grindcore ftl. I cannot STAND grindcore at all. Play random notes to make dissonant chords. Wow, a chimp can do that and it would probably sound better. This **** hurts my ears.

Screamo is pretty good with certain bands...Like All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, Kill the Prom Queen, Killswitch Engage...

Metal like 80s metal and some of the newer stuff.

Almost every hard rock/rock band like Godsmack, Disturbed, Buckcherry, Breaking Benjamin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Creed, Coheed and Cambria, Blind Melon, Incubus.

I can think of a multitude of better bands than Fallout Boy. Most alternative is kind of bad.

I found a couple "Emo" bands I like.

See: LoveHateHero, Across Five Aprils, Yesterdays Rising (If you call them emo).

I still don't like the lyrics, but it's good music.

70's and 80's rock are basically the only rock genres that I have any respect for. Modern rock songs vary greatly for me, because I think most of it is a never-ending pile of nonsensical crap.
