I never get why people like to play one-handed. It's inferior to nearly every other general playstyle and it causes unnecessary strain that begs for carpal tunnel. Sure it's impressive to accomplish a good score on a song one-handed, but is it worth it?
It's not that we like to play one handed. It's that we dislike the other styles. At least I do. >.> Hey Jelly. Yeah...
Play "Max Forever". This is the quickest way to get good at playing one handed. Once you can manage to get a half decent score, 700 - FC, with 0 - 5 boos you'll be pretty advanced.
After that I would focus on FCing "Etude to a Dragon" a few times in a row with 0 - 5 boos. After you have mastered endurance and Jump Stream there isn't really anything that can block you.
As for awkward practice. I suggest FCing J219, playing Sympathizer ****loads, and trying to hit at least a 500 combo on VB.
