Re: What would you do under these conditions if your parents were abusive.
maybe youre not the religious type, but pray. just pray. even if you feel like a crazy man talking to God at night -- or whatever time of day you please, He really is listening. maybe you'll blow me off, but at least try. i'll pray for you as well : ] just dont give up or kill anybody; including yourself -- despite what this crowd is pressing. it wouldnt turn out well for anyone.. no matter what else gets said.
and yes i am a Jesus freak. flame me if you will, but i wont care -_-
Re: What would you do under these conditions if your parents were abusive.
I would say to just tough it out for as long as you can then move probably closer to your girlfriend. Detach yourself from yourself from your mom to an extent and just worry about getting a career. Also Snowcrafta does this so much that he's banned so much he doesn't have time to change his avitar from a takeover that ended 4 months ago. Hope everything works out.

K, story of my life up to today summarized in a nutshell.
Ever since I was 3, my mother ignored me unless she a. wanted to yell at me for something, b.abuse me physically/emotionally. I'm now 16, almost 17. I have a job, I can pay for my own subscription as you can see, and among other things.
I have a wonderful gf, however she lives 30 mins away by car. Now if you lived those 14 years of your life, always without fail definitely yelled at for something, or possibly beaten. What would you do. If you go to family services. You lose everything, your gf, everything. If you stay... the mother will possibly kill you or eventually you will yourself. If you stay, other possible answer is, your kicked out, you die of starvation. So no matter what you do, your trapped. What do you do. Me...I have no idea, so I wanna get some ideas from other people here. and as for today, I was almost strangled/punched. Thats what is making me psot this
You are definately viewing your life much worse than it really is. It isn't that abusive of your mom. My mom has hit me, but it is for reasons to make us behave, and in your moms point of view, she probably only wants the best out of you, and she doesn't see it, and she overreacts. You are not living that bad of a life since you 1) Have a computer to use 2) Still alive and healthy 3) Have had someone to share your feelings with.
Those 3 are really good to have, and you seriously need to put consideration how lucky you are compared to millions of homeless, mentally ill, physically abused, and "used" children out there.
I am not of any of these, my life is worse than yours btw.
Btw, I double posted to quote another person, and I do not know how to double quote people, so don't accuse me of not using the -EDIT- button

he's already b& for TROLLING theres no point in saying that now
by the way its better for him to get it? why would you want to fuel a childish desire. not saying he does want attention.

Maybe try there for a more supportive/understanding answer to your problem. Also, if your parents go to jail, I highly doubt the government is gonna just come in and take the house they own. And I don't really see how you'll lose your girlfriend over this.

Re: What would you do under these conditions if your parents were abusive.
its interesting seeing the variety of responces to this...i should bring this thread to my psychology class tomorrow...btw its really difficult to say someone else's life is better than someone else's on account of oppinion and how that person got to where they are now and even depending on the mental stability/state that the person is in
My fav. quotes:
