Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced
New update: The golden hammer.

It appears on a very important looking pedestal.
It’s even more powerful than a normal hammer. And it’s even more rare.

Swing, swing, swing the hammer!
This hammer drops with fearsome force! Not only does it boast increased power, but you also swing it faster.
...And it may have even more effects.

If you rapidly tap the button...

You can float in midair!
What is this?! As far as hooks go, this is pretty odd. It may even be a little hardcore.
By the way... The normal hammer was known to occasionally lose its head...

Ever have this misfortune happen to you?
This item also occasionally malfunctions...
And it is then apparently called the Golden Squeaky Hammer.

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced
yea with wi-fi
its either friends or anyone
thats how they do a lot of their wi-fi games
i like the message idea and icon
that helps out nicely
just hope there isn't rediculous amount of censoring
(cuss and vulgar obviously, but clubhouse games has predetermined phrases that are horrible, and it's all you can say.)Comment

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced
all right, i hope he mode for everyone has the REAL standart rules of super smash (wich are with items, and a random stage).
as for not having voice chat, i like it better this way ( i hate how voices combine with the sound of battle).
as for being slow with a coneccion with japan well i played slow-mo melee so a little of lag is not big dealComment

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced
I hope he has settings that people can modify. Like other Online games. I mean seriously why allow us to customize the way we play offline with a bunch of options then limit us to a few online? I want the same level of map and setting customization.
Also the whole anonymous thing is going to work against them xD If everyone is anonymous no1 is going to care what they do during games, playing fair or not playing fair. There are no stats its basically saying do what you want, we don't care cuz you stats won't be recorded.
I really hope stats are recorded for matches with friend codes tho.Last edited by Shamo0; 09-18-2007, 05:01 PM.Comment

for anonymous, im ready for them it is more fun to me to defeat random people than my friends, why? because with your friends you already know ho they play and you know what to expect from them, but not with random people, besides there is nothing unfair in super smash (wavedash is just a glitch it not something unfair)Comment

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced
Fun fact: The Wi-Fi update was the 100th update post made by Sakurai on the website.
Sounds suspiciously like he planned it...Comment

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced
The 200th update will be over 100 days from now. Assuming eight weekend days per month, we can assume about 23 or 24 updates per month, meaning the 200th update won't occur until four months from now...after Brawl's release. After release, I don't really know if there's any reason to keep updating.Comment
