Is this the general opinion? I can't actually watch any animu right now, although I did watch up to episode 10, and the whole series was epic at that point.

Just wanted to know: I very much hate evangelion, so is there a chance I may like TTGL? And how long is this anime (I haaaaate the never ending animes....)

Favourite animes ever: Yukikaze, Karas (both are technically very good -hope it's correct : English 's not my native language - though Karas last 3 episodes will only be released at the end of the month), Samurai Champloo, FLCL and Wolf's Rain.

I never saw evangelion, I don't watch much animu except the really good stuff like GitS or insane stuff like FLCL or Dead Leaves. TTGL probably isn't as mind blowingly awsome as FLCL but it's ****ing epic. I'm currently waiting for episode 25 I'm not sure if anyone brought this up but TTGL was made by the same companies that did FLCL (Gainax did the story and Production IG did the... production. :P I think)

Also if you think the show is getting too emo after like episode 7 or something I suggest you stick with it until at least epi 14 because it's worth it.

You mean 15, that's where you can end the series, because that's the best episode of all time, right before Part 2 after the 7 year time skip, but it's epic, great anime, I didn't like Evangelion that much, but I love this, there are only 26 episodes, maybe 27

TTGL is decent but I don't think its really good, you should definitely check it out if your curious. Anime these days are pretty bad IMO, Galaxy Express 999 FTW lol.

i liked elfen lied, death note, chobits, Kenshin, and bleach alot, and FLCL was pretty cool too. maybe ill check this out =3
