I don't go to an arcade, I go to a movie theater. xD But it has DDR Extreme.
No matter how many times the colors of the seasons change,
these feelings will never wither, swaying like a flower
If this is just a dream, then let it be a dream. I don't care.
My heart, filled with loving radiance
Is forever thinking of you.
These words that we play are a pleasant melody
All I want is to have you by my side,
so that I won't lose my smiling eyes
even on a night when we can't see the twinkling of the stars.
At the mall where I usually go there was a new arcade with a modded Stepmania arcade machine. It borrowed an old DDR 1st mix cabinet body and pad (which still works). It's really great since it contains all songs of DDR and ITG on all mixes (i'm not even kidding).
Many people today play DDR Extreme, DDR Supernova and later. But I still play 1st and 2nd mix in the arcades. Too bad for me.
.
PRESENT DAY
Man: I'm going to play DDR 1st Mix today.
Man 2: SO what? I'm playing Supernova 2 today.
Man: What the hell is Supernova?
Man 2: Go back to the 60's, noob.
OMFG THIS IS SOO F-ED UP!!!! I WENT TO THE MALL ONE DAY AND THE WHOLE ARCADE WAS JUST A WHITE WALL!!! NOW THERES NO MORE PLACES WHERE I KNO THERE ARE DDR MACHINE!!!!!!!!!
"- I Can See The Beat Approching. - I Can See Your Realise."
our ddr machine broke well i dont mind i dont play it but i know alot of ppl did now the only one is at the movies dunno which one it is but i think its extreme
well my closest arcade is at the fye in the oveido mall. they have an extreme with EVERY song unlocked and PERFECT pads. my next arcade is a movie theater. extreme with crappy pads there.third one is my favorite, daytona lagoon with i think 1 or 2 itg2 machines a supernova an extreme, percussion master (i think) and, piu gold (or exceed). daytona lagoon is loaded with rhythm games.
Okay, I'm at my university right now, so the closest arcade would be the game room at the Student Union (which is on campus). Last year the dance machine was a combined DDR machine. The lower part was from a DDR machine, but the actually song engine was ITG 2. By the end of the Spring semester, the machine was broken. (The dance pad no longer functioned correctly; it didn't register when you step on an arrow.) That machine has now been replaced with the latest version of Pump It Up. Hopefully when I finally have the time to try it out, the machine will still be functional.
My arcade had an Extreme for a long time, which was then replaced by an ITG2 upgrade. That upgrade didn't work, because the machine itself was pretty much too old to handle it. So they had to get rid of the upgrade that day. They eventually put Extreme back in when they weren't too lazy, that took about 3 weeks. Eventually, we got a SuperNova, which is undoubtedly noobed up by all the noobs. Also, We have Beatmania the Final, and no matter how much we petition, we will not get IIDX. We also had Pop'n 1st mix for a while. And we have DM10, which was recently down for at least a month.
