Okay, I hate mecha's, but this one is special, no, it's beyond special, if you haven't reached episode 8 or 15, then you don't know the meaning of it, please watch some more of it, and compared to other shows (and yes Blood+ and Air Gear are some of the best shows ever) it is terrific, and how can you say that One Piece makes you cry? The show isn't made in that way, it's not a show that you'd cry in, it's like Naruto, you don't cry in Naruto, only once did I feel touched and that's when Haku died and Zabuza was talking to him, nothing else, all the way up to Peine and Jiraiya, nothing else was sad

But this, everytime I see an image of Kamina and hear Simon say, "Believe in me who believes in you, that's a saying my brother used to say, my great brother who I miss very much", it's just sad, and when Rossiu tries to commit suicide, it's a deep show, so is Evangalion but that ended up being wierd after the End of Evangalion the movie, when Asuka and Shinji wre the last people alive on earth

FMA and Naruto are by far the worst in that list...Anyway, I'll probably watch TTGL after I'm done with Boogiepop Phantom, Hidamari Sketch, and Lucky Star just because it's animated by Gainax, and everything I've seen by them (FLCL and Evangelion so far) has been awesome.
Best Scores: Love-Colored Master Spark AAA, Mute City Remix AAA, Over the Rave AAA, TGWP3 3 good.

      I'm not good anymore.

One Piece was made that way. I'm certain of it. There's a reason why Oda doesn't kill off many characters and when it does, it's monumental. He wrote One Piece to tell a story and he does it so well. Underneath all of the supposed silliness, it's a very, very deep show.

            EDIT:

            Spoilerish.

God darn it. I'm under a time crunch again, so I will be swift about this. You did not watch One Piece all the way, over and over again as you may suggest. If you did, you may understand it a little better. It talks about the importance of friendship. It took ~400 chapters before the first "main character" died and this character didn't play a major role in the story, in fact, it wasn't even human, it was a ship! However, if you read the entire thing, you still have feelings for this ship, this inanimate object, which has only been in the crew to serve it's purpose, and in some ways, a loyal friend. When the ship can no longer be used and is burnt, we realize that there will be no more adventures for the ship and only memories are left. Most authors fail to give the same affect with people, for Oda to do this with a non-living object is truly, amazing.

The second moment I can think of is related to the signature of my quote. If you read that chapter, you should know what it means.

I agree with your sig, but that's not the message of One Piece, and for christ sakes it's just a ship, the message in your sig is represented by the Schiff in Blood+, they all die knowing no one will remember them, thinking that they will be erased from history, because of the Thorn, they know the will die and cannot stop it, and once it appears, they wait for their deaths, Carmen talks to Moses about how death was something he never feared, but knowing he will die, he is scared, not scared of death, but that no one will remember him, after he is moments from death, him and Moses watch the sunset, thus commiting suicide and drifting into nothingness, Saya keeps a promise from Lulu to always remember them, so that their existence would not be meaningless,

Ho Ho! Set Saile for One Piece! Because some idiot named Monkey D. yeah, that's a gay ass show, squeek can go f*** himself if he says One Piece rocks, the only good thing about it is it has no fillers, but neither does Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which will make you laugh, cry, and question yourself over and over, just like blood+, and Air Gear (manga), Tenjho Tenge (manga). Anyone who thinks One Piece is one of the best are just Jap fanboy n00bs, I am an ultimate Otaku, trust me, I know what is good, and One Piece just doesn't make the cut, actually Naruto doesn't either, but Deathnote does!

Yah, I'm going to have to go with cC@Zz. If you follow One Piece, you'll start to realize that each individual arc talks about it's own little story and lesson. They're all really fun and often simple to get. When I debate with my friends at school about this, this is usually direction I like to head in because many of my friends at school believe a story is only good based on two things: the art and the content of the story (content to my school friends usually leans towards the theme, everyone here is a snobby-smart-kid, even me sometimes, so don't believe everything I say). They claim One Piece has a lack of meaning when it actually has full of it. They say Naruto is the pinnacle of meaning, what true friendship really is. I find that One Piece presents this message a lot better than Naruto does and it's not even a major over-arcing theme.

Oh wait, Naruto and One Piece sharing themes? That's impossible. One message per story plz. I find it okay for other animes to present the same message. I can quite literally say the same thing you just did, the message presented in Blood+ was presented in One Piece. I can guarantee you that the the authors of both stories found these life revelations in another story they read when they were younger. In short, you can't say a theme originally and truly belonged to another anime.

One Piece is not a ship. I just talked about a moment that involved a ship. There are more than one moment in One Piece. I'd like to say One Piece is many things and it's difficult to coral it all into one little short statement because it's just that large.

Damanwithdaskills' opinion has no meaning because he likes Naruto.
Also, I don't like One Piece, mostly because all I have seen of it is the Americanized version.
I will watch the real One Piece when I have the time.
Then I will state my opinion of it.

yes I know it's naruto, it's just that in generality people refer to the original series as Naruto while they refer to the new one as Shippuden, though the manga is just Part 1 and Part 2, but I've seen every episode from both series' and have read every manga chapter up to 370 (which was released today) and I think it is much better than One Piece, but back to TTGL

Today the new episode came out! 6 people died, wtf? They kill them off that quickly? It took a while for the first main character's to do, oh well, it only has 2 more episodes left anyways
