K well if finally located the folder but changing the Cmods screws SM up and it aborts the game. ill copy paste what the area im trying to change not sure if its the right one or not but i'm pretty sure it is.

the cmods in metrics.ini and english.ini have to be EXACTLY the same, that's the only thing that would make it crash is differences between those 2 files

search your stepmania folder for metrics.ini if it isn't there

The graphical representation of the energetic system referred to as "Loot" cannot remain on a constant power level because of the dynamic pressure exerted upon it by Loot's StepMania power, as modeled and notated by the equation S(t) = 1000*(t/2), where t is the time in days elapsed since the first interaction with StepMania. The shifting frequency (in days) of the graphical representation must follow a trend of corresponding change, modeled by the equation C(S) = S/1000, where S is Loot's StepMania power, as aforementioned.
