And on the subject about feeling "cheated", compare (without seekers):

    Slytherin:

    MeaCulpa - (1) - 30
    MilkChan - (AAA) - 50
    - - - - - - - -
    Shadowswordsman - (29-11-15-18;MC364)- 25
    DrawingJunkie
    - - - - - - - -
    jellygod (AAA) - 50
    xplayfan - (AAA) - 50
    Crazymagician000 - (AAA) - 50
    Sunako_Nakahara_Girl - (25-2-3-4;333MC) - 18
    Special Abilities: BLOCK(used)
    Total: 273

    To Hufflepuff:

    Fractal_Monkey - (15) - 20
    Hoochan
    - - - - - - - - - - -
    EI_Tizzy
    Remedy1502 - (1) - 30
    - - - - - - - - - - -
    GamerShadow
    Zim311 (81-8-9-13;MC 138) - 14
    AK_Parker - (23-5-0-35) 22
    ruferddude - (24) - 0 BLOCKED
    Special Abilities:
    Total: 86

1 person didn't submit on our team compared to 3 on Hufflepuff. Take each person that didn't submit and give them a AAA on Hufflepuff, and say that our person that didn't submit got the lowest score for a beater...sunako was bludgered:

    MeaCulpa - (1) - 30
    MilkChan - (AAA) - 50
    - - - - - - - -
    Shadowswordsman - (29-11-15-18;MC364)- 25
    DrawingJunkie - (some crap score) - 15
    - - - - - - - -
    jellygod (AAA) - 50
    xplayfan - (AAA) - 50
    Crazymagician000 - (AAA) - 50
    Sunako_Nakahara_Girl - (25-2-3-4;333MC) - 18 - 0 (BLUDGER'D)
    Special Abilities: BLOCK(used)
    Total: 270

    Fractal_Monkey - (15) - 20
    Hoochan - (AAA) - 50
    - - - - - - - - - - -
    EI_Tizzy - (AAA) - 50
    Remedy1502 - (1) - 30
    - - - - - - - - - - -
    GamerShadow - (AAA) - 50
    Zim311 (81-8-9-13;MC 138) - 14
    AK_Parker - (23-5-0-35) 22
    ruferddude - (24) - 0 BLOCKED
    Special Abilities: Bludger(used)
    Total: 236

You're still behind nearly 40 points. The only way you could win is if u84 never submitted at all (gator would get the AAA and u84 is still MIA), which is what would happen if we didn't get a sub. How cheated do you think WE would feel? We can't control what happened or happens to him, same as if something last minute happened to jwcgator. We asked for a sub, he AAA'd, if you had a sub you would want the same wouldn't you? Also there's the fact 3 people didn't submit compared to one on that team, and from the looks of it, that could have been controlled.

All in all, it may feel cheap that we won, but that's what happened, whether you want it to or not.

Had the match turned out like right above, it probably would've been more interesting for all of us and harder to predict which team would win, unfortunately, it didn't.

jugglin, its not your job to remind us, but it is your job to keep things like a last minute sub in for the final round

even if jwc was away, i wouldnt go and find a sub for him because its his fault which ultimately means its the teams fault, you guys couldve easily subbed someone in for u84 days, maybe even weeks ago, but you wait until the finals and then you get an amazing sub? thats bs on so many levels its not even funny

ps-if jwc did happen to go away and we NEEDED a sub, i couldve subbed for him and we wouldnt have won/lost unfairly because i would still be part of the team (idk what would happen to my empty keeper position, though)

Of course, Mea, that;s Assuming noone else on our team was able to improve their score...

However, that admittedly wasn't very likely. Either way, Hufflepuff blew it. I think it was awesome we beat Ravenclaw twice in a row anyway
Only at the FFR Quidditch World Cup...

Ha. That's a cool trick. When this is at the bottom of the screen then I don't see anything. But when I scroll down (making this closer to the top of the screen), I can clearly read what it says. I don't know if it is like that for anyone else though.

And to Hufflepuff: Please quit complaining. It is just making us look bad. We should be happy since we got to the finals. There is nothing wrong with second place.

I'll say. Hehe took me 3 tries for each song and the first two times I was told to post it instantly, so I just figured to post it instantly again, thinking everybody already had their scores posted. Was in a hurry to leave.

Once again, team, sorry I caused you all tears and hardships for the last few weeks

In previous rounds, u84 was inactive for a few days, but came back a few hours before the Seeker song was released. I didn't want to ask for a sub before last night because I figured he might have come online, as he's done before.

Anyway, gg everyone, and thanks again to the three hosts for one of the most unique tournaments I've seen. All that planning and updating and such was well worth it, as the 1900 posts in this thread prove.

We have a right to complain when bs like what happened here came into play in the tournament. If you don't agree and have no counter-arguments besides the, "stop complaining blah blah blah", then I suggest you just be quiet.

Hey HufflePuff, did you guys realize that just about everything that has come up in this tournament you've all b*tched and moaned over? Yeah. It's annoying as hell.

As for the subbing in the final rounds, what the hell did you expect us to do? u84 went AWOL with account issues, (etc, etc) and left no sign of his return for the finals. I realize that you all want to complain that the sub was a beast at FFR, but even if we had picked someone who was terrible they could have just submitted something for points. At the rate things were going, Slytherin would have still won by quite a margin. If you completely disregarded the Seekers, the way the round was going was quite clear. With three Chaser AAA's, a keeper AAA, etc. the points that Slytherin had were getting near perfect. HufflePuff on the other hand... yeah, no. There was no indication that the score difference would change drastically, so seriously... stop making mountains out of molehills. Take a note out of ruferddude's book and just get over it.
