And anyways, I never went to a band concert before..

And this post isn't a lie.. Unless the concert was from a concert-band in school..

i really want to go badly and see Linkin Park perform, but I can't go. That really sucks. Well, I'll keep paying attention to youtube or something if someone video tapes it.

Ooh I'm so excited I'm leaving in 20 minutes! I'll post about it when I come back.

P.S. I know I bumped it but it was a meaningful bump.

                    Re: Projekt Revolution

WOW. I just got back from the concert and I have no words to describe how I feel. Let me critique:

Madina Lake: I missed most of there show cuz we were a bit late but we saw there last song and it was great. Plus my friend Michael and I got our picture taken with them and we got autographs. They were my favorite band on the revolution stage.

Styles of Beyond: Not really my kind of music but they were ok I guess. And they threw in a little surprise.

The Bled: They were pretty good. I hadn't heard there music before but they put on a decent show. They're basically a hardcore/screamo band with a pretty good sound, but there songs didn't vary much.

Saosin: They were great. They put on a great show, I really liked them and wish I had to time to take a picture with them and get there autographs.

Mindless Self Indulgence: They were awesome. The first thing they said when they came out was "welcome to Highschool Musical, part 2". They were really funny and made a lot of jokes and stuff. Shut Me Up was awesome, it really shows how good their singer is despite how weird he is too. Everyone went crazy when ****** started playing, I love that song! They ended with Straight to Video, then the lead singer lipsynced "There's No Buisness Like Show Buisness" lol. Sorry Endorphing but I'd have to say they were like 6th best though behind LP, MCR, TBS, Madina Lake, and Saosin. There bassist is hot though. They're probably all on drugs xD.

Julien-K: I didn't see them on stage but I heard there music and saw them on moniter displayed in different locations. They weren't very good honestly. Them and Placebo were tied for worst imo, speaking of Placebo...

Placebo: I went up to the stadium about half way through there performance, they weren't all that great. Basically they were a British rock band that didn't have anything good about them.

HIM: HIM wasn't the worst band there, but they definetly were the band that deserved to be there least. HIM is basically just outdated (not very good) metal. Seriously, they haven't done anything lately besides tour on projekt revolution. Wings of a Butterfly was there best song but that's not saying much.

Taking Back Sunday: They were really good. I wish Adam would have spun his mic a bit more but I guess it's pretty dangerous (he did once hit another guy from his band on accident lol). They put on a great show and I really enjoyed them. It was funny though because they're so used to going on tour with Underoath they were kind of the good boys of the concert. They only curssed in Makedamnsure and A Decade Under the Influence (damn and hell) and they didn't say any curse words inbeetween songs. They were also so modest. They said that it was an honor to be playing on Linkin Park's stage and that they were just warming us up for the real show.

My Chemical Romance: They were basically the exact opposite of TBS. Gerard actually said "I am the sheriff of ****ing emo town" lol. They were kind of stage whores but they were definetly the second best band there. They put on a great show. They were really funny too. At one part, the lights went out and you heard Gerard say "First base...oh...second base...oh...THIRD BASE" and by then everyone was cracking up. They were awesome.

Linkin Park: Best Performing band there by far. They started out with Wake which surprised me. Then they played Given Up which I wasn't surprised at at all. The energy of the band and the show they put on was amazing. They "ended" with Faint which surprised me, then of course they did 3 songs for an encour xD. The encour was One Step Closer, In the End, and Bleed it Out which they dragged on for about 10 minutes. They were just, amazing and I feel inspired from them honestly. Mike Shinoda is seriously one of the most talented people in the world. He's written most of the songs on the LP cd's, Fort Minor, working with Styles of Beyond, he knows a ton of instruments, he paints, and he has a family.

Sorry I wrote so much I just feel like getting it off my chest. I had an awesome time.

                    Edit: double post ftw.

Well, since I hate all of those bands except Saosin and The Bled I am not going. I am saving money to go to a NHRA national event here.

Eh not really a fan of any of those bands. Linkin Park is the only one I like but they're hit or miss. If they skip Meteora I probably wouldn't mind but its not worth paying to see just them.

Lollapalooza though, would've been an awesome show to go to this year :/.
