This game will probably do justice to the things I didn't like about the last game, though the basis is the same as the last.

        You don't know that.

He might code in some anti-game-destroying mechanism to force people to play his game the right way.

I know I would. Just to mess with you all.

'course, even if he forgot, I would just refuse to play against wavedashers like I said before.

I can see you're not going to like online play if this game does in fact has it.

In your case it's probably best if online play isn't even in the game :P

            No, it'll be online compatible.

I probably just won't play against random people because they lack the skills to win this game without exploiting glitches.

So basically you'll only play against people you can beat. Because everyone is going to master everything. I know I am.

So, is this where the wavedash haters talk about smash? lolol

I think it's pretty funny that you refuse to play against them, I guess they are just too fast for you to keep up with.. Hehe

I think this game will be great, regaurdless of wavedashing being in it. My main concern is the speed, though I'm seeing Brawl as a completely different game. On the small preview they released, take a look at Link after Wario's scene. Look how incredibly slow he moves. I think alot of people are still going to play melee, I'm pretty sure I will... but I'm still going to love this game. ..but the speed adjustment really bothers me.

Wave dashing does not give you any extra speed or skill, it is just stupid.

PS: Just pre-ordered it, and paid an extra 10 bucks so I don't have to wait in line.
Its gonna come in the mail.

Lol. I guess you think L-canceling is pointless too

                      Thank you, Shamo0. lolol

I know I'm playing this **** aaalll day when I get it.

Wavedashing may have been a glitch, but it's become a part of Melee. I understand if it is taken out, because that's not the vision Sakurai had for the game... but I love the fast paced action of Melee. You have to think quick, or you're ****ed. It's obvious you don't wavedash if you think it doesn't speed you up.

sjoecool1991, if you honestly don't see a speed increase in wave dashing or L-canceling when watching this video tutorial you need your eyes looked at.

Oh yeah about the gamespeed. I think it should remain fast. I mean there's a drastic speed increase from the N64 version to the GC version. Maybe it's just a better FPS? I don't know, but I hope it's the same speed as the GC version or faster. :3

Re: Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Release Date Announced

                          Sakurai mentioned a moderation to the speed, and about people apparently complaining that the game was too fast. I know the japanese players I played weren't complaining, I don't know who could complain. ;-;

I love the speed of Melee compared to 64. Just watch any decent Fox. lol Watch Mew2King's Marth. Mew2King is too damn good. lol
Slower gameplay leaves more time to think. I don't like that.. When I go up against PC or M2K, I love losing a stock before I can really grasp what the hell just happened. Though, it's not like that anymore. It was fun as **** when it was. =p

                          Shamo0, we're playing on Brawl online. =p

Of course we are playing online I'm always looking to get better.

And figures people complain. The game speed is perfect where it is in the GC.v why change it SAKURAI WRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY haha

If people want a slower game they should just play slower characters haha

Oh, well. We can just play Brawl on Lightning Mode. =p

on-line game, story mode, super attacks, more characters, more crazy items, and a faster gameplay this is really gonna be a good super smash bros game and not just a little update with more characters and lvls
