I despise public schooling.
I have always gone to private schools,
and I plan to give my children with the same treatment.

I think it is more sad that more and more private schools are closing...

Perhaps it was a specific subset of what you were thinking about, but what you said was quite clear.

Well, I think you have some rather large misunderstandings about what qualifies as coercion.

I think I just have a pessimistic view of what people will do if given a chance.

You may have that too. Your pessimism, however, does not articulate itself alongside appropriate understanding of the subject in many instances.
