ive been so bereft since i moved away from my apt with the roommates that had guitar hero 2. It's gotten to the point where I'm going to best buy just to play guitar hero. i don't know whether its cool or embarrassing when i aaa monkey wrench blindfolded with a bunch of ten year olds gaping at me...

no, there are no AAA's in GH, and optimal score is almost impossible even on the easiest GH songs. he meant FC.

yea, i think the only holds in monkey wrench are followed by the same note unheld, so it's easier to potentially get a "AAA." for all vocabularial purposes, i meant fc - what's required for 5 gold stars.

There are a LOT of factors that go into optimalizing score, and like I said, it's RIDICULOUSLY RIDICULOUSLY hard to completely optimalize in GH.

It would probably take hours or practice to totally optimalize Monkey Wrench Easy, let alone Expert.

oo ic wat u mean...alot of people do that they find sp paths (star power paths) just to get the higest score possible, like priestMLH...lol

Here are all the factors:

-Flawless SP path. These are all known now, I believe, but still.
-Flawless whammying. Very hard to do this.
-Flawless squeezing. Very VERY hard to do this, especially when it coincides with flawless whammying.
-Optimalizing holds. This you mentioned already.
-Optimalizing star power activation during a hold: forget about doing this, ever. Has to be done TO THE FRAME. I would be surprised if any song with a path that requires this has been optimalized.
-FC everything else. Not too hard, but it's still a factor.

yea. it's ridiculously hard. Not impossible, but probably not worth the effort XD

lolol, ya, optimum scores are like almost un-obtainable.

I think the only one where theyve actually gotten it is Yes We Can, if I'm not mistaken.

I FC'd 18 and Life today, for my 15th FC. halfway done!

Heh I just started playing on hyper speed to see what is so great about it and I actually improved ALOT. I got some 5-stars on Less Talk More Rokk, Push Push (Lady Lightning), and Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart.

beyond gaining star power, i don't even bother with the whammy bar. it seems like such a waste of time and i never noticed a change in score. also, what do you mean by "squeezing?"
