lol. i've beaten that score twice on round 1 alone. 3 times if you count the 84k score that's #2 now.

if sprite is giving up, we can move on to round 11 now.

ok. Sprite quit over AIM to me...

and, for Sprite... the trick is to use your 3x3 bombs and uncover EVERY space. because each time you uncover another one of the 3 aids, you get 1000 points, which is far more than you get for sinking the ships. you only get a 1000 bonus for beating each level.

so, the key is to get a random generation that gives a LOT of the bonuses. so that is the luck. the skill is being able to figure that strategy out in the first place, at which point it no longer becomes all luck. just mostly luck.

also, i try and use the airplanes before the bombs, since you lose the ability to use airplanes or even find them once your carrier is destroyed. the other 2 you can use regardless of what ships you have left (i believe).

edit: there are only 15 levels, and at least for me, the submit score is NOT working... so if you beat level 15, get the SS as pictured above before clicking next, otherwise you won't get a SS of your score.

ps - got 49,000+ without beating lv. 15. had 7 x2's in 14 levels.
