Re: Fast Food Places: Their fault or everyone elses.
Well, ironically, I'm eating McDonalds right now, but at my McDonalds, there is no nutrition info avalible. But, it doesn't matter much to me, because I hate the fries, which has the most fat and sodium.
Anyways, it's mainly the customers' faults, mainly because they aren't being forced to eat there, yet many people eat there waaaaaaay too much. But there is also the factor that sometimes the nutrition info is not out the, in my case (I'm not obese), in which case it is the restaurants' faults. But that is the smallest percentage of my opinion.
Re: Fast Food Places: Their fault or everyone elses.
customers by far! no one makes you eat there, don't make you eat there everyday, possibly multiple times a day?? and not exercise even once or twice a week kind of thing? seriously, i dance almost everyday and i eat w/e the heck i want including the fast food, weekends with a rele big dance schedule i can eat a big mac at lunch and go out to like wendy's and get sumthing like their new baconator and i don't gain ne thing, and i'm healthy as a horse it's all the customer. everyone knows about the health risks involved with the fast food so no one can/should blame the franchise, i should know im working for one (well should be soon) they always have their nutrition facts displayed, or atleast generally they do, and it's your own fault if you don't look at them if you want to know how much fat sodium etc. your ingesting. so by far it's ignorance of the customer

Fast food is addictive. Potato chips are addictive. Sodas are addictive. Video Games are addictive.
It is with no doubt these foods that fast foods make their food addictive. High fat, high salt, and high sugar make the foods both delicious and leaves you wanting more in the future. If they were to even reduce the amount of fats, sugars, and salts in these foods they wouldn't be nearly as compelling to you - ever wonder why homemade french fries or hamburgers just don't have the same zing to them as ones from McDonalds or Burger King?
The true fault is the provider than the consumer. If the drug deal does not deal, there is no drug addicts.
Re: Fast Food Places: Their fault or everyone elses.
I think they should try a little harder to make the food healthier. Not to be mean, but customers can be stupid. Of course it is their fault, but if you know that your customers might die of a heart attack because of their lack of self control to eat YOUR food.. Then it is your job to do your best to try to protect them.
Re: Fast Food Places: Their fault or everyone elses.
If restaurants made their food healthier, then the whole subject of Fast Food would be gone, causing many mad Americans. I'm not sure what that will ultimately cause, but it will be baaaad.

The true fault is the provider than the consumer. If the drug deal does not deal, there is no drug addicts.
But if noone was buying the drugs then there wouldn't be drug dealers.
The public is very aware of how unhealthy their products are, and that fast food can be addictive. The companies arn't doing anything illegal and arn't pulling any tricks on the public. We have the information; it's our stupidity. They sell unhealthy food and make that very clear. I work for Mcdonalds and it has absolutely no intention of making their food healthy because people continue to propagate McDonalds existance because they desire fast, unhealthy foods >_>
Re: Fast Food Places: Their fault or everyone elses.
McDonalds? Why don't you work at BK? =D
Oh yes, the only time I get to eat fast food is when I go to get my braces tightened, which is 1 to 2 or even 3 months of no fast food, so I'd say I'm OK for health standards on that.
