I've only DDR'd at my arcade like...5 times. I don't remember the cost at all. I did a few songs with a friend and we were laughing and fucking eachother up too much haha good times.

I'm gonna try out DDR again this summer.

Yeah, as it's been said, you should just have fun on your first time. There's no point cussing at the game because you can't follow the arrows. Just practice, and things'll get easier as you go. Arcades are a better adjustment to start on too. At least, playing a little, then going back home to practice. But the arcade is where the fun's at. ^^

Anyway, there's too many arcade machines over here. There's one that runs $10 days where everything's on freeplay, and with that one-time fee, you can play until you collapse. Fun times. . I need to play more. .

To play ddr at the arcade you gotta have some skillz...

        - You must be able insert coins into a machine
        - You must be able to step on plastic arrows
        - You must be able to take the occasional insult from people you don't know, shouldn't care about, and most of whom you will never see again.

Sounds easy doesn't it? Ironically enough many people find it quite hard.

wtf on the 20 machines in one place, even places like circle center in indy only have a couple, but I do live in central illinois, so I wouldn't say there is to much of a DDR scene, untill you get into chicago at least.

Regina is the smallest city ever, probably like 1/3 the size of Calgary! And yet we have like 8 DDR Machines here, 'tis awsum.

Doesn't matter how good you are now... No matter where you go, there will always be those 4 - 10 people that can do heavy or whatever for an A on anything. Can't really show off anymore. Blah.

                      G'Day.

you don't have to be good at all... I started playing at the arcades and I basically played only at the arcades.

Let me tell you something, aight? You do NOT hafta have a certain skill level for you to go out and have a good time. I was like you, I was scared of what others might say, but I finally had the courage to go out and play. Some people think that DDR is about impressing people to think that you are the ish, but it's not. It's about being yourself and having fun in the meantime. GO AND PLAY!!!
