How the hell do you do this. I've been trying for the past hour and could only manage 14k.

Is there like a double invert or do you people just consistantly get perfect landings?

The best score combo I've gotten is an invert + superman + grind + smooth landing.

Do you have to get that every freaking time!?!?!?!

Help would be thanked.

this is a TOURNAMENT. why on earth would anyone realistically help you? they are your competition.

and yea... i know HOW sprite got his score.... i just have a buttload of trouble doing it his way. my way, i'm really good at... and it's still hard as hell. and i get a much lower score. could probably get 80-100k with a crazy good run my way.

and, yea. i doubt i'll get eliminated this round regardless. but in the spirit of a tournament and competition and whatnot, each man to himself.

Ha, I'm on this middle ground you said that there was none of. I kept doing more small point stuff until I got up to enough points, barely.


Edit: plus, tass, I disagree with your "Every man for himself" statement. Those who are favored to win should be worked together to eliminate, as it would help the other players. For example, in Shash's tourney, I offered Wind a bunch of credits if she could knock skybeam out, but she didn't, but it still would have done the other players a lot of good if she succeeded, except that skybeam pretty much gave up soon after that, but I somehow don't expect this to be the case with tass.

and... your thing with wind/skybeam... that is an incentive. the incentive here is 20 bucks. you didn't offer to play the level for her in order to beat skybeam, or give her any kind of special trick that she didn't already know herself. etc etc. so, while the end result might be the same, in that in both cases the mass players will have a better shot by ganging up on one... the method of going about it is different. in one, you're a cheerleader, in the other you're a schemer or something to that effect.

Can anyone tell me why sometimes I get 2000, but other times I get 5000 for the same exact move?

You probably stayed on the rail longer when you got the 5000, it seems like the longer you're on it, assuming you don't fall off or start going backwards or anything, the more points it gives you. Anyway, it's not the exact same.

Edit: maybe that's not completely the case, I'm not really sure how it works exactly lol.

Yeah I don't get it either, apparently. I'll work at it though.. honestly, I think I'm out unless I can figure out your little tricks by tomorrow.

edit: disregard that. Figured out what to do but I'm really inconsistant with it. If I practiced, I could do much better, probably 50k+, but I'm not dealing with it until I have to.
