My feel on this one is that prostitution should be legal. A man and/or woman owns her body and has the right to do with it what he/she wants. In my opinion, it's the same as anything else. We buy cigarettes and alcohol because it feels good. Regardless of its risks, it is legal. Sex should be legal to buy, as it feels good and if you wear a condom, the risks of getting anything are much slimmer than getting a disease from alcohol or cigarettes. I understand that they may not work all the time, but if the prostitute and the "buyer" don't wear a condom, it is their fault for getting a disease, as it would be the buyer of alcohol or cigarette's fault if they got a disease. I also agree with what devonin last said about the government being able to require permits and testing. Without it, it's like buying a gun. It WOULD be legal if you got a permit.

EDIT: For some reason, I always lose all my ideas halfway through writing one of them. I'll probably remember them when I hear Devonin's response..

Yeah, well, prostitution will never be legalised in America, because the big 3 religions (Christianity, Islam, and Judeasm) consider it bad, and thusly it's bad for everyone. -.- Which is a big reason I'm against organised religion.

Oh well though, stupid people outnumber those with common sense, so they tend to have the power.

I don't personally care about sex ed., whether or not it's stupid or unnecessary.

I did like the free condoms though, that was cool.

Prostitution is bad merely from a health standpoint, as prostitutes don't demand that you get tested before you sleep with them, and I highly doubt that you make the prostitute get tested. Therefore, Prostitution=Bad, as one prostitute can infect hundreds of horny, lonely men.
          A) No ****, because it's illegal.
          B) Why can't we let idiots be idiots?

So? I am not directly harming anyone. I think it is even more selfish of the government to think that I shouldn't be able to do what I please with my own body.

There are so many you wouldn't even believe. E.g. everywhere.
