Most influential racing game- pole position, there, i win.

Most influential game- asteroids/pac-man/space invaders/pong, these games actually got people playing the games so they are godly now.
The following people are on my hit list(for now...):

Lifetime- for teaching children that women are rape toys and all men are evil(ladies, I\'m single and guranteed not to rape you!)

notice the end of my post, where i talk about no first gen games...which all of the ones you mention fall into...
I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.

        whoa, i'm bleeding...damn

now, on topic: whatever the first shareware/demo disc thing was the most influential game. i remember never owning Doom, but playing several demo discs which contained Doom and other cool games. the whole "demo" thing made games alot more widespread, because demo discs were cheaper and let u play a buncha games so u would know what u liked. demo discs were the most influential, even tho they arent exactly games in and of themselves...
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O
