He couldn't of been depressed by something. It's not like him to ditch a match at Vengeance for the ECW world title. We don't actually know what happened, all we know that he is dead with his family.

Things are poping up all over the internet on sites and through links on wikipedia that Benoit accidently strangled his wife in an argument, panicked then killed his son and then hung himself. Don't know if its true but we will find out eventually. I'm watching all the news channels right now to find out more info.


Update: Headline News has just reported the same thing. Its has not been oficially confirmed yet but a press release is apparantly going to happen at 3 pm Eastern time.

Benoit strangled his wife in an argument, smothered his son and then hung himself. Aparantly there are some strange text messages sent by Benoit and that Benoit killed himself a day after he killed his son and wife.

This was reported by the associate press. A press release is going to be held very soon. I believe at 3 pm EST/ 2 pm CENT.

I'm going to continue to watch Headline News for more updates.

Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.

Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig t an unnamed source in the department.

Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

I see there is some mispelling. It's in bold.
It may have been true.
