    Re: Homosexual Marriage

I'm only speakin of rape where the man is forced to penetrate someone or possibly to recieve oral sex
I said that several posts ago. I was talking about aspects of rape that would be allowed or disallowed by a man having an erection. Really though, I think the oral sex would probably only occur alongside other more serious or damaging aspects rather than on it's own. So while it would probably be the most bearable part, it would still be part of an overall negative experience.

Me, i got no problem with gay people, AS LONG as they dont try to do anything with me. Gay marriages? sure, why not? just dont do it in a church, since in the bible (or so i heard from my siblings who are totally religious), god tells us that it's like a sin to be homosexual. so technically as Biz Ounce said, homosexuals MAY burn in hell. No offense to homosexuals.

I'd personally like to see a passage from the Bible describing that. Maybe ask your siblings to post said passage?

          Re: Homosexual Marriage

marriage is supposed to be one woman, one man -- together forever. simple as that. never is it supposed to be man and man, or woman and woman and woman. its just not what was intended to be.

Do you happen to have proof of that or are you just pulling it out of your ass?
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Jeez, there are too many which directly and indirectly say/suggest it, but here are a few examples that I quickly found:

Gn 1:27 complementarity of sexes reflects God's inner unity
Gn 2:21-24 transmission of life through total self donation - 1 flesh
Gn 19 original sin deteriorates to Sodom's sin
Lv 18:22 called abomination, cut off from people (v.29)
Lv 20:13 both shall be put to death for abominable deed
Rom 1:27 called unnatural, shameful, and a perversity
1 Cor 6:9 active homosexuals won't inherit kingdom of God
1 Tim 1:9-10 those who engage in such acts called "sinners".

Of course we know that the original intent for marriage was to have a man and a women to get married. Why do certain people never think outside of the box of society? Society has intended many things, but of those things, taking away liberty is one of them. Never follow society unless you atleast know why you follow any type of norms that are given. If you don't question things to an extent (by that I don't mean repeatedly asking "why?" over and over again), you might become ignorant. Even still, society has no right what so ever to take away liberty unless that liberty is taken away for a completely justified reason which has never been given for homosexual marriages.

                    Re: Homosexual Marriage

hmm i won't relay my opinion on this matter but i will say that marriage has always been an act of religion not just two ppl getting together for the rest of their lives the government in the US whether ppl want to believe it or not stems from a strong religious background mostly protestant in origin marriage was used by the government as a tool in the recognition of couples to ensure that all matters of state would be handled with as little grievance as possible, marriage was also used to designate authority with the household when the country was founded the head of the household was held with responsibility for the rest men could and were fined and jailed due to actions their spouses and children did, now that is not say the individual involved wasn't punished they were its just the family unit was given more liberty and thus more responsibility since then marriage has been used in recognizing financial dependence and the duality of ownership of all possessions of the couple, land, home, cars, whatever. anyways now that i've rambled on a bit my point is that marriage was, is, and will still be a religious pact that the government uses in the organization of society that being said in the end the entire point of having a recognized and legal marriage is based on the need to be excepted into society and regardless of governmental approval it is the religious side of the common populace that will in the end accept or reject and at the moment it is rejecting the validity of any marriage of same sex. besides marriage is never something to be entered lightly whether it is til death do we part which sadly most of society seems to forget or forgo

I almost fell out of my chair laughing from that.

But seriously dude, it makes you look bad when you don't split things up into paragraphs, capitalize things, and use periods often. Many people in CT will get kinda irritated by it. It's not really my job to tell you what to do, but please follow the rules. I honestly couldn't even manage to focus through the entire first run-on sentence. And by the first run-on sentence, I mean what looks like 2/3 of the only paragraph.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but please make it readable.
I knew this was coming. I just knew it. But somehow, I didn't stop, because maybe I expected someone would stop me first.
