The wisdom of God is beyond our comprehension. Therefore, to try and understand what he does is an exercise in futility.

But, to not kill the argument. Our entire universe is made of atoms and vacuums.

Look around. You are not seeing the true form of our world. You do not see the air. You do not see the minute spaces between the atoms in the wall, you see another version, the world as perceived by the human eye. God is the ultimate computer programmer in a sense. His entire system may have been corrupted by a single abberation (which is impossible if you believe in his infallability) which grew and grew.
      So true.
      Guidohunter too.
      For the most part.

sorry spec, but can you stop telling people to grow up? it just really isn't right.

          as for something on-topic.

i've wondered that. and i've never ever freakin heard a satisfactory answer. and some children, not doing anything wrong...end up experiencing some horrible death. and some true assholes prance around on the greenest fields of life while others eat their shoes.

its probly to do with the fact that if there is a god he, and he gave us free will. then he gave that asshole the chance to dance and have a happy life. regardless fo what god thinks and wants. same with the kid. then i suppose that defeats the point of praying for anything. ive often wondered why people should think that they know how to run the world better thne a supposed all knowing all seeing all powerfull being.

Can't think of anything good to say...

I guess people have to die of things other than old age to limit the overcrowding of the planet, but the fact that they have to suffer through slow poision or other painful deaths is another problem. Not only that, but the Earth is overcrowded as it is. It's a circle that I don't think there is a way to explain, and thats way I can't think of anything to say.
Every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilizations, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every hopeful child, every mother and father, every inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lives here on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.

This is a bit far out, but may, just maybe, God does all this stuff to people because he doesn't exist!

Ever seen Pleasantville? Every single essay I've ever written about Perfection, I make a reference to that movie.
