Out of every anime I've seen, the story in E7 is the best. Little is left unexplained, unlike some other anime (think the endings to Rurouni Kenshin and Inuyasha...absolutely nothing resolved whatsoever). The new twist on classic mech-anime (airsurfing robots are amazing) was another pleasant surprise. Even if the action wasn't anything special (battle scenes were mediocre and repetitive), the story is just plain gold. And for that, it is my absolute favorite.

Hey, I don't really dig too much on anime, I do like Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, but that's it.

I'm asking advice from you anime junkies and fanatics:
A bunch of friends and I are going to an anime convention in iowa this august (AnimeIowa for anyone who's curious) and while I don't really like anime I figure there will be plenty of interesting people and hey, it'll be fun. Costumes are the norm and I really don't know what to be.

Which character would you personally like to dress up as and/or nominate a character for myself.

I'm a beanpole, 6'5, 160lb, blonde glasses, if this aids you in any way. Thanks a hojillion!

Before everyone starts yelling, where's Bebop and other well known series (Haruhi anyone?) I only watch anime that I feel hasn't succumbed to Mainstream Nub status. Yes I know FLCL and NGE have hit that plateau but they are still great series.
