I would have to say Pokemon all the way. That was my obsession from 2nd-5th grade. No lie. I had everything ever made to do with Pokemon.

I also watched this marathon of the OLD original episodes on Cartoon Network today where Ash was battling in the Pokemon League. ^_^

Digimon is a very cheap immatation of Pokemon, and I never watched Yu-Gi-Oh but i heard from the younger crowd it was lame.

The new Pokemon episodes are incredibly lame though. Some chick replaced Misty (I always wanted her and Ash to hook up >:[ ) and there's about 247348783 new pokemon that i can't even begin to tell you any of their names.

Original 150 were the best and maybe part of the next generation were alright. Up to the silver/gold version of the gameboy games draws the line for me.

Pokemon has better video games.

The shows are about tied.

Pretty much. Yu-Gi-Oh was a pretty damn fun card game back in Middle School and Pokemon...I didn't play the GBA versions but I got back into into the game with Diamond, even if it can't compare to the Gold/Silver days. :<

Well Imma gunna be controversial and choose Yugioh. Main reasons being I'm a fan of the card game and I find the melodrama of the series more amusing than in Pokemon. Shows aren't fun if you don't drag battles out over multiple episodes, people!!!

And Digimon will get a small cheer from me because they could speak in full sentences.

I loved digimon because while every single creature ended in "mon" at least they were capable of words... and I do not consider saying your name a million times an adequate form of communication.

PS... the psychic legendaries like Mewtwo and Jarachi and **** dont count. They were the exception not the rule.

I've always like pokemon the best though. yu-gi-oh got extremely retarded once they got rid of the weird schizophrenic kid.
