I have 3 beldums. They were a god damn bitch to catch. So many ultraballs and duskballs despite having only a silver of health. Also they only use takedown it seems so they are pretty much suicidal making them harder to catch.

Use a Gengar or other Ghost-type with Hypnosis. Take Down can't hit them and Sleep helps a LOT. Also, try Great Balls and Poke Balls once in a while. Sometimes they work when the better balls don't.

Also, if you guys are searching for items held by Pokemon (like I was last night), use a Pokemon with the Compoundeyes ability to increase the chances of finding wild Pokes that carry items. I got the Electrizer, Magmaizer, Deepseatooth, Deepseascale, and Dragon Scale rather easily using a Butterfree with Smoke Ball (since it was only level 13), a Banette with the Frisk ability, and a Fearow with Thief.

Apparently, you can only search for Pokemon through GTS is you have a record of you seeing it in the game first. Beldum isn't seen anywhere except in the wild when swarming and in the Battle Tower (where encounters don't count toward your Pokedex, apparently). You can get a Metagross and breed it, though.

If someone knows how to get Pokemon that you haven't seen yet through GTS, it would be very helpful.

I'm pretty sure that is you battle someone with that Pokemon, it counts as you seeing it. For example, say you need a Raichu, but you haven't seen one yet. When you battle a friend that uses one against you, the Raichu becomes "seen".

Of course I might be wrong. =/

Pretty sure I don't know anyone with a Mew or any of the other Event Legendaries that I need to complete the Dex so that doesn't really help me. :/

I just dig around in different forums for what I need. There a huge amount of places dedicated to Pokemon. I'm pretty sure at least one of them has someone willing to show you their Mew.

PEOPLE! In order to get Event Legendaries, You need Action Replay. I got on my friends nerves the other day until she gave me Darkrai. I taught my Darkrai Dark Pulse, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and Nightmare. Darkrai is good because its abillity is Bad Dream. Darkrai has the abillity to reduce the foes HP while the foe is asleep.

Does anybody have a Haunter of level 30 or less they could trade me? I can't get a Gengar OR a Haunter on GTS because they all want Dialga or Palkia (Which is REALLY GAY imo.)

Reply or PM me if you're interested. And I will NOT trade legendaries for the Haunter. =/

I just put up a Mitsuhoney or something and asked for Haunter. Eventually someone gave, and it became Gengar

Also, I may be getting a legit (but cloned) Mew from someone I found online. No idea what happened to Lightwing on FFR, but this is someone else.

I DO have the National Dex, but I have a limited amount of Pokemon. I have seen 225, and I own 75.

Also, is there any way to get another Eevee? The pokedex says there is, but I'm not too sure myself.
