That would only change the songs you'd play throughout the tournament, unless you want to compare yourself to another player 1 throughout the tournament, but I switched you guys on request.
Also, there isn't much changes to the rules and even less for you since you were one of the last to register. I set the fixed date, and this :
-- Choice of Songs

the tourney will be longer than other tourneys due to the round robin. However we won't be getting 24 teams, but it'll be over a few months long.
(8 rounds or so of round robin) = 2 months
2-3 Weeks for each elimination round X 4 rounds = 3 months
So yeah, for the teams that go to the very end it could go 4-5 months =)
NOTE* If I decide to only pass the top 4 teams to the elimination round it would be shorter, but I want more teams to have a chance to play

I understand your reaction, but my goal is to let everyone play a set amount of rounds before being able to get eliminated. A lot of people register in tourneys and keep getting eliminiated after just one game, which can get frustrating.

It isn't. And I know the prizes aren't much, unless I just give the finalists the whole thing but that would be less fun in my opinion. Also, I would put more but I just dont have more to give out :S

Its the lenght of about two normal tourneys..
A normal tourney can be 8 rounds or so..Here would be 8 rounds for everyone and 16 or so for the finalists/winners .. but with 7 teams on each side this will be a 6 or 7 round robin
