I guess my comments were vague. I didn't include every NWOBHM band, evidence that I like bands such as Necrophagist, Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, or Arch Enemy.

You still didn't explain your point as in why do you think they're "all" gay.

Some of the bands sound all the same. Just because you can tremelo pick really fast, doesn't make you a good guitar player. Just because you can almost sound mute when you yell into a microphone, doesn't make you a great frontman.

The bands that I like have a specific quality about them that makes me like them. For instance, Flo Mournier. He's one of the worlds greatest drummers. Muhammed Suiçmez of Necrophagist is a excellent guitar player who, in my opinion, is almost on par with Yngwie Malmsteen. He did the first album all by himself (not including the drums, but used a drum machine).
