I have a respect for both old and new metal. While I can appreciate the work of older groups such as Judas Priest and Led Zeppelin (though the latter's genre is up for debate), I also enjoy listening to newer groups such as (some) Slipknot and Killswitch Engage. Most recently I've become fascinated with the intricate works of groups such as Dreamtheater and some Tool.
