I'm going to get Mario Party 8.

I haven't bought any Wii games except for LoZ, so I don't care how good it is. It is a party game and should be fun.

Amen to that. I've had several "Wii Parties" that centered around Warioware, and it was nothing short of a blast.

              Re: The Wii is Here.

Warioware is cool, but I don't like it so much for party situations because:

              a) everyone has to use the same remote. having 4 remotes, this is just plain annoying.
              b) I know all the games really well, so I always kick ass.
              c) there isn't a quick tutorial mode. I suppose I could just go to the temple and show people all the form things in order, but... whatever.

still a damn good game, though. (also, don't know if I posted it here, but I got all of the microgames, and pyoro n. so fun!)

I get the feeling that Mario Party 8 will be better for party situations.

Wii Sports is better for parties. WarioWare has the tendency to shun those who suck at games.

The Nintendo Wii really is a versatile piece of hardware.
I mean, when it comes to controllers, there are pretty much four different types.

I guess I have no choice but implement them all!

There’s no need to be confused about what does what—just choose the play style you prefer!

I suppose I would recommend the Nintendo GameCube controller, though. I like the feel of that powerful rumble.

Still, try out the other controls—they definitely give you a fresh experience.

Hmm? How do you do smashes and dashes with just the Wii Remote?
If I get the chance to tell you, I will.

                              There's gamecube, wiimote, classic. I can't think of a 4th.
