It's never right? Why? I posit that there's nothing wrong with discrimination at all. Why am I inherently wrong and why can't there be a single reasonable instance that discrimination is okay?
I call bull****.
Also, your definitions of racism and slander are looser than Paris Hilton. It's almost as if you're looking for any conceivable reason to be defensive.

1000% yes to this.
Also, I like Naruto, to tell the truth.
However, most kids who also like it, act complete idiots about it. For example, like the "crazy" type fans who talk about it all the time, but they really don't know anything about it and think it's the coolest thing in the world. That's what pisses us off. People who think it's better than anything in the world like "OMG, NARUTO IS THE BEST! STFU!" or "SASUKE IS SO HOT!" etc, etc. That's basically what stretchy meant when she used the word "moron".

I almost couldn't believe it either. I can see what he meant by using "racist", but it still doesn't work. This is why if I don't know exactly how to express myself, I whip out a dictionary or thesaurus, or just say ".....Well, you get my point, right?". Hell, even my friend Josh avoided words he didn't entirely know about when he didn't use 'protagonist' properly ("But seeing as I'm such a good protagonist...").
Just a quick bit about my views on anime: I think it's a really good genre, but the problem is, the bad parts of anime entirely outweigh the good parts. Back-to-back filler episodes, characters that look TOO weird (i.e. One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh), and idiotic fanboys are great examples.
Re: Dissing people for liking Naruto - Isn't that racist?
Everything I wanted to say has already been said... for the most part.
Why do you care so much? Do you work for the localization team in American or something?
Look, we've had a bad run with Naruto fans and decided the best way to keep our maturity level up was to limit all discussion of the show to one thread. Narutards would go around spamming how awesome naruto was and make three thousand threads asking who was cooler and who would win in a fight. All of this, of course, was written in incredibly broken English.
None of you could see this post before, but I figure I might as well quote it for relevancy.

ITT, we vote to ban Naruto from being discussed in Media.
This is a result of years of idiocy spawned from the discussion of Naruto in various threads.
One of my most important anti-Naruto posts was here:
Look at every single thread outside of Media (and TGB) where the regulars of this forum post. Here is what you see.
1) Posts written in complete sentences with proper spelling and coherency.
2) Posts with opinions and statements to back them up.
Look at every thread where there's a single mention of Naruto. Here is what you see.
1) Posts that look as if they could have been written by four year-olds.
2) Posts with an unbased opinion about how Naruto is so supeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ^___^.
So, again, ITT, we vote to ban Naruto from Media. Also to consider banning Bleach, Inuyasha, Kenshin, or whatever shows are on cartoon network these days. Or maybe just banning talking about the dubs of things that aren't Naruto.
