Say for Beginner, only 7 submit. Instead of letting 1 random person in, because that would spark a chain reaction of complaining from everyone else I didn't let in and most likely, he wouldn't submit again anyways. It just makes more sense to just eliminate all who don't submit.

S = Submitted
N = Not Submitted
E = Eliminated

In this scenario, Arielle, Mayra, Celina, and Maribel were eliminated due to not submitting a score and therefore changed the total number of players in the bracket from 12 to 8. They DIDN'T COUNT towards the half, so Mario, Hope, Stephanie, and Jesse still got eliminated since the total of submitted scores was 8 and only 4/8 get to remain (50%).

In this scenario, Arielle, Marya, Celina, and Maribel did not submit scores so they were eliminated. They COUNTED towards the half, so only two more people needed to be eliminated to meet the quota of 50% eliminated (6/12).

A bit wordy and I hope just specific enough to be able to differentiate the two.

I'm not sure how actual tournaments do it and for the next one I host I might have to look this up, but for this first tournament of mine, I think the second one is what I'm trying to convey here. If you don't do well and you submit, you can be saved by others not submitting. So, yes, if you don't submit, you count as the eliminated half. Did that clear it up?

What you did before does not matter. If you want to submit a score, it has to be from between the tournament rounds. If I even suspect you are using an older screenshot, I will ban you. And keep in mind, people, that this round ends tomorrow at 8:00 PM Eastern. Don't wait too long to submit because I will not accept late submissions.
