I still can't pass blur 1.0.

Also, I just got 87 perfects and 2 misses (both in the jack) on Southern Cross, but a pretty lousy 14 greats.

Follow the instructions I outlined in the post above and you will pass with ease. You don't even have to hit the keyboard fast...I can hit quads very very slowly during the jacks and still come out with lots of life.

If you still fail using this technique, your keyboard is handicapped and I would suggest getting a new one that is capable of registering better. Either that or try changing your key setup - this can be really really huge. I changed mine recently and it made a HUGE difference. I also got a new monitor, which has been allowing me to read faster and faster Cmods. o_O (though you use C770 which is fast enough).

**Another fast reading technique is to move yourself farther away from the monitor. Personally, I've underestimated the importance of reading at a high speed mod until now. It makes the patterns significantly easier to recognize on difficult songs and increases your MA.

I'm still suspicious that my keyboard may be broken. But also, I'm really, really bad at jackhammers. I still have a hard time passing Trisection. Got any advice for making jackhammers half as difficult, or at least for learning how to do them? I have a feeling that there's something very wrong with my technique for jackhammers, because I'm terrible at them.

Come on man you should be passing it. All I have to do is mirror it so that the long jacks near the end start on my left hand and it's all good. If you are right handed then you should be passing it. Mash the jacks then mash double jacks for the remainder.

I'll give it a shot later. Kind of expected I would pass that before blur, but apparently not.

It's the part right at the end (naturally) with the 4 or so long jacks, starting on up and then alternating between left and right, or something like that, and with jumps mixed in every couple notes, that kills me. I don't even make it to the long-ish single jacks at the end.

I also can't AAA Wonderstory because of the jacks (best is a blackflag) and it took me many, many tries before I could even FC it reliably. And I can't FC Hardware Store oni or AAA it on heavy. It's just sad.

This wasn't all that hard, IMO.
The only truly tricky parts were the jacks near the finish that did jumpy transitions.


EDIT: This was my 4th try. First two I failed at said jumptransjacks, and third I got a high C.

PS: This is a bad A, I bet.

That's okay, Dynam0. I don't half blame ya between colt.45 and all those other ones.

I'll have a music rate proof and matching, similarly high score up on here within 2 days.
