            The easiest way to find BPM is to play the song and headbob or tap your foot to the beat for 15 seconds (watch your timer or use a stopwatch or something). Then multiply by 4. You can also listen for 30 and multiply by 2, or listen for 60 and just take the number. I generally count to 15 so I don't mess up counting. If you have one of those hand counters, that would probably be the best.

            If you feel like the song you're syncing has a really strange or constantly changing BPM, you can try and use a program like Goldwave to detect it. However, 90% of songs BPM's can be found using the headbop or foot tap method.

                                                            Just a question - can we use the official music ripped from the game or do we have to find a remix/remastered version? I have a few Sonic CD and RUSH mp3s (gotten from Kewing Darksun) that could make great files.

                                                            And does this rule apply to EVERY game?
