I'd take old school Nickelodeon (Camp Salute Your Shorts, KABLAM!, Rocco's Modern Life, Pete & Pete, Clarrisa Explains it All, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Keanan and Kel, the Angry Beavers, Legends of the Hidden Temple) over anything Cartoon Network plays and over anything currently playing on Nickelodeon. I want to murder Spongebob with his stupid annoying laugh and lame corny shows like that one that stars Britney Spear's little sister.
Anybody remember back in the day in the summer time when this little guy hosted the afternoons?
I miss Stick Stickley.

I officially won this thread.
PS: No I did not Google his theme song. I remembered it off the top of my head from years ago. The last number might be wrong though.
Nickelodeon is aimed towards a pre-teen audience. Most people here are older and will like Cartoon Network more because they have [adult swim] which is aimed for the teen-early twenties crowd.
I haven't watched anything on Nick since I was like 12.
This is where i think we run into the conflict, most people remember nick from when they were little kids and it has stuck with them. Because that was pretty much the first of the two they became accustomed to they generally liked it more. I havent seen Nick in ages either, but the comparison is unfair because we are relating how much we liked something now opposed to how much we once liked something. While keeping in mind that while we were that young we were more impressionable and we liked weirder things.
I can't pick on either show, just because I have not seen all the shows on either network. (asterik ones are my picks) I remember just these shows, at least.
-There was *Hey Arnold, Angry Beavers, *Invader Zim, CatDog, *Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob Squarepants (so he's gay. why hate?), AHH! Real Monsters, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Ren & Stimpy, Rugrats, Avatar, All That, Keenan & Kel, Rocko's Modern Life, and a bunch more I could list for Nick. There is a list on Wikipedia of all the debuted cartoons, whether made by Nick or not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicktoons
-There was *Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken (the first "Cartoon Cartoons" to appear), *Courage the Cowardly Dog, Powerpuff Girls (no one said them yet. I am shocked), Megas XLR, *Samurai Jack, Star Wars: Clone Wars (these two won Emmys), Speed Racer, Tom & Jerry, *Looney Tunes (oh my goodness! classic all the way. "Ehh, what's up, doc?"), Teen Titans, and hundreds more than the Nick collection could offer. Their list of debuted shows are on Wiki, also. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...artoon_Network
I can't believe I remember so much.

I liked a lot of their old shows from a while back like Dexters lab and Samurai Jack. I don't like most of their new shows. Adult Swim though is the main reason why I watch CN.
There is a 50% chance your pillow will eat you while you are sleeping.
