            Loli is the hentai equivalent of sex involving children.

            Ecchi is perverted actions not involving sex (AKA, it's not hentai).

            Furthermore, Yuri is female/female hentai and Yaoi is male/male hentai.

            I could go a little more in-depth but I'd rather not.

                                Fun Fact: "Ecchi" is just how the Japanese pronounce the letter "H", which is short for Hentai.

                                But Squeek is right about the distinction between the two, at least in America. I'm not sure if such a distinction is made in Japan.
