I'm not sure he is totally middle eastern, the accent seems russian to me.
Also I am kind of bummed out that it is New York City. It should of been a type of area that was not done yet. NYC resembles Liberty City too much to be original.

I could've sworn that there was some GTA game - maybe not IV - that could let you travel to different areas of the US. I may have just read something incorrectly.

FYI: this game now has a car fuel system. Gas stations aren't just for decor anymore.I didn't mean to rhyme, I swear.

I'm kinda excited about this game, but since it'll probably be for the PS3, well, I'm not going to bother buying it unless something else makes me want to buy a PS3 :/

But the whole idea of things being in a city and not driving around in some dumb random area(there were some in San Andreas) really is an idea I like.

I have to agree with you. The idea of being able to explore in a wide area seems decent, but then you're lost within minutes. That's one of the many reasons why I prefer Vice City over San Andreas.

Try Xbox 360.

It won't be out on the PS3 until long after it's released on the 360.

Because I'm in school right now I can't bring up the official sites (damn blocks) but I am 100% sure that GTA4 is comming out for the PS3 the same time its comming out for Xbox360. The release date is October 16, 2007 for BOTH systems.

If you get lost in San Andreas, something is wrong with you. The big wide open spaces were easy as hell to navigate, especially given your ability to place a marker on the map anywhere. Hopefully they expand on that in IV so you can put several markers. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if IV is bigger and more easy to get lost in than San Andreas. Next gen = more size on disk = bigger cities. Also probably = more hidden packages to get before you can 100% = I'm never going to 100% any GTA game ever. ;___;

FYI: this game now has a car fuel system.

I was about to cringe, but then I remembered how little effort they made it to stay healthy in San Andreas and realized that my car will probably be wrecked and on fire before it runs out of gas. It'll be kinda annoying for helicopters and such, maybe, and it'll probably make the taxi missions a bit harder, but pshhhhhhhh as if taxi missions were ever hard.

It's basically the fact that I'm constantly pausing to check the map, and sometimes I go on the wrong road when looking for a checkpoint or I'm in a chase. That wasn't a problem in Vice City.

And I completely forgot about helicopters. If they need refills, it's going to get annoying. Helicopters is one of the best things to joyride in (I usually try to avoid typing the Flying Car cheat in too much. Many of us know of the glitch that occurs when you type in cheats 500 times before Madd Dogg's missions begin).

I just misread the reports of certain things. I never actually read the Microsoft conference because I was too busy drooling over news about Wii.
