You're basically saying that high school sports have nothing to do with FFR Teams.

Wrong.

Some obvious similarities:
1) There will be a champion team in the FFR Team League. It wouldn't be a league without a champion team. Just as there is a champion team in sports, this will be no exception.
3) Relay Races provide a reason for Track teams to be "Teams" and not just be an individual sport. Just like Multiplayer. Interesting, huh?

If you don't want to participate, that's completely fine by me. If you're going to flame a thread just because the idea makes no sense to you, or you don't support it, then do it elsewhere, like the GB.

here's the thing

golf teams have best ball
tennis teams have doubles
track teams have relay races

now here's the seperation

FFR has NOTHING involving more than one person on a side. there is no opportunity for teamwork. hence the word "team" is misleading, and should instead be changed to "group of people who think they're the **** by aligning themselves with others in a single player game"

actually here's a better way of putting it

lets say that me, tass, you, sammo, and bahamut was on a "team"

bahamut is above and beyond what any of us are skillwise. he's going to get scores that none of us can touch. so what are we here for? if you guys do it so that it's a cumulative score, it's just going to encourage the best players to group up so they're not stuck with 4 bad players, so it's not even going to be a competition. if you do match/individual play, baha will destroy everyone by himself so being on his team would serve no purpose at all
