I refuse to even watch this because I hate musicals in general. In fact, what is there to like about a musical? It's not like it's a concert of some sort.

On Wednesdays, my school does this thing where we go out into the community and lend a hand. I go to an elementary school, and I work with second graders. Those kids are the target of all this HSM madness. I asked them why they love it so much, and they told me the songs are catchy, the kids aren't terrible people off-camera, and part of it is "everyone has seen it," so it's something they all have in common.

*shrugs* I've never seen it.

i like disney channel...but it's not as good as nick :]
and i didin't like the movie, storyline was boring...but i could stand it at least, the only reason i couldn't was cuz i was a 5yr old niece who loves it :/

The movie is pretty straight------------>foward,but gets really annoying after a while.

-all the girls in my homeroom sing the songs every ****ING DAY(so annoying)

-you guys should watch Step Up (good movie)

the songs are so great, but the acting is just bad, and the story line is meh.

Honestly the movie isn't as bad as critics claim. Disney takes a shot of making something good, and people shoot it down without even taking time to notice it.

I myself, don't like it all too much comparing it to feature legnth films. But it being from Disney and as a Disney Channel Original, it was executed nicely.

Yes, the songs are catchy, but do get annoying after hearing a bazillion times.
The acting is not very convincing, but it wasn't terrible.
The story was a bit stale, but the meaning of it all is its strong point.

You have to remember that it was directed to a younger audience like all Disney Channel Orignals are intended. If you feel the movie is too childish, uncool, or gay; than you're probably immature and don't believe that all things can't be judged until you view all aspects of it.

You can dislike it to a certain extent, but you don't have to degrade it to make it like a piece of trash.
