i don't really get the point of this. i mean, wouldn't it be better for newer people to choose songs for themselves instead of looking at a list of "favorites"?

there is already a list of the most played songs per day, which isn't the same thing as what you are trying to do, but kind of the same.

yes what jchinzilla has said has come to my attention before i even started this. What you have said about it being similar to the most played songs per day is somewhat true. but some songs are played alot by the same person and isnt necessarily their favorite song. I also think that they could do more with this than just putting this poll on the website. I also think they can do competitions weekly with the most voted for song that week. kinda like spontaneous and get rewarded with a t-shirt or maybe some credits. They could also feature authors on the front page with the most popular songs which would be kinda cool

I just think that my idea could make FFR even more exciting and could bring in more members to the site. Not saying that Synthlight's idea on the URL posting on websites isnt a bad idea, i'm just saying that this might be a good addition to it.

By the way, any songs submitted before this post have been added to the poll
