i was joking. but if i actually wanted to, i could EASILY put together the most dominant team.

shash, johnie, and jimerax would easily join up with me if i asked him. would just need a 5th... and any number of tier 1 or top tier 2 players would join us knowing who the other 4 were.

if there were real prizes I'd join up with baha/jx/danceguy/exagon and it wouldn't really be much of a competition

sertman:Track is an indivudal sport, (besides the relays). Why do we have track teams if 85% of the events can be done by one person? Why shouldn't we have FFR teams? Just because it's a one player game (Besides MP) doesn't mean nobody should have teams.

relay races, the only reason there are teams at all is because it helps differentiate which school has the best track team, because the way high school sports work is that there must be a school champion in each sport.

You're basically saying that high school sports have nothing to do with FFR Teams.

Wrong.

Some obvious similarities:
1) There will be a champion team in the FFR Team League. It wouldn't be a league without a champion team. Just as there is a champion team in sports, this will be no exception.
3) Relay Races provide a reason for Track teams to be "Teams" and not just be an individual sport. Just like Multiplayer. Interesting, huh?

If you don't want to participate, that's completely fine by me. If you're going to flame a thread just because the idea makes no sense to you, or you don't support it, then do it elsewhere, like the GB.

You do realize that those are school sports. You cant just take the best of the best and go like you can here. Each individual can only represent their school and not another. That way, there is little chance of the teams being stacked. In FFR, theres in one big community meaning tons of stacked teams.
