2 Months with it, and no problems.
Does disconnect with the internet alot for some reason, tho I think thats just my router being gay (Comcast FTL).

the x-box 360 is wayy better then ps3
i have both, the ps3 isnt bad, its just that the 360 is just really really good.

My brother has a 360 already and the Wii dosen't interest me, so PS3 seems like the obvious choice, especially since I already have a ps2.

yeah the Wii looked kinda gay to me too..
but its sad...some of the games on ps3 look like your playing them on the ps2
like..Ultimate Alliance is one, others arent bad, just some were like a let down when you play them.

Yeah the PS3 is definitely not worth buying. If you want that kind of gaming, then your best bet is Xbox360. Much cheaper, comparable graphics (some would even say better in some instances), and a much larger game library at present. The only thing I can honestly say that PS3 has over Xbox360 is that PS3 has the dualshock, probably the best controller design ever. That said, I'm sure an Xbox360 controller isn't too difficult to get used to, because unless I'm mistaken it pretty much has the same setup for buttons as the dualshock.

Interesting that you say that, seeing as all the dualshock is is a modified Super NES controller. Heck, the original Playstation controller was only the Super NES controller with two extra shoulder buttons.

True, but compare the dualshock to the retro-styled Wii Classic Controller. A good, solid controller, but I'd still take a dualshock over it any day.

An interesting note regarding PS3 and dualshock: The PS3 dualshock is actually modified. The R2 functions more like a trigger than a button. I haven't had much opportunity to try with it though, but it is an interesting concept and I would love to have a controller like that for my PS2.

I don't know if anyone else thinks this as well, but I find that the 360 controlller has better grip than the PS3 controller. I agree with Afrobean about the 360 controller being better on all fronts than the PS3's except for the dualshock.
