I guess I'll give a hint... it's an RPG that is the second in the series (the first of which never came to America). This one did though, as did the third one which was released a few years ago.

It's Star Ocean: The Second Story for the PS1, developed by tri-Ace and pubished by Enix. It's also one of my favorite games of all time (easily the most under-appreciated on my list), and interconnected with some of the most beloved parts of my Internet life history.

It has its quirks and honestly had a pretty terrible English localization, along with an even worse anime made after it (although the manga is much better and I fell in love with the artist's work), but I guess that's all part of its charm. I recommend anyone play this game, especially anyone who loves a lot of freedom with character interaction (and a real-time free-movement battle system). There are a ton of different ending thingies based on which of your characters liked each other the most, which depends on how you play the game and which options you pick when talking to people sometimes.

I don't really care about the third one (Till the End of Time) though. :/ It was kind of a disappointment to me.
