Seriously, if you can't get used to such thing as ITG and it's stepfiles, making yourself one of the possibly none of them who say this game is not awesome, keep playing DDR... fool.

I've played mostly all of the 10-12 footers.
Idk. I listened to all of the other songs like 'Not Worth The Paper' (seriously wtf) and some of the other songs.
And Charlene.. so many unneccessary 16ths.

It doesn't really have to flow perfectly. It just has to fit the song which ITG does. That is why ITG is harder, it doesn't directly with the music. If your looking for the most logical steps play DDR extreme...however SuperNova is just rediculous lol (AA hint hint).

DDR=Whores their in-house artists.
ITG=Finds fresh talent and helps indi artists get their foot in the door of the music world.

And don't throw that whole "DDR song contest" crap at me.
That contest was started after ITG.

DDR introduced dancing games to the mainstream.

"And don't throw the ITG 'arrows going up the screen into 4 judgment panels' thing at me.
That was started after DDR.

I can do Max 300 (Super-Max-Me-Mix) on Heavy, but I can't pass MaXX Unlimited on Heavy.
Believe it or not, jumps are quite exhausting when executed in rapid succession.
If you've ever been on a trampoline, you'd know what I'm talking about.
Speaking of jumps, what is the point of having three/four arrows at a time?
Besides being deliberately disorientating, what can they accomplish that two arrows can't?
Unless you were syncing a song that has overlapping vocals, I couldn't possibly see a need for it.
And seeing that ITG's "Charlene" prefers to use a crapload of 16th for vocal synchronization, there really isn't a need for 3+ arrows.

You did not just diss Sunshine...

It one of my favorite songs on the game, and one of the first 10's I passed.
And there's no way in hell you can pass an ITG 12 if you can't pass Sunshine Expert.

And DDR syncing is not as refined as ITG. (A DDR perfect is inbtween an ITG fantasic and excellent)

AND CHARLENE is great song too. I played DDR, but it got too easy. Come back once your ready for the real thing dude.

More like smite you for saying ITG is crap because of a part of a song which so far only you have complained about, WHY do you think ITG is like that, do you think it's supposed to be DDR? it's supposed to be something DIFFERENT, you can't blame the whole game because you think a jump doesn't fit into a part of the song.

All these people that say ITG is better...
Their main reason is usually, "it's harder, so it's more fun".
That's like saying that old NES games that were impossible, deriviative, and downright unfair were fun to play "just because it's more of a challenge."
To someone who has never played any type of dancing game before would probably agree that, after trying to do an elitist ITG song, it's not very fun.
Oh, and one musn't forget the large quantity of modifications that ITG allows.
While it's nice to have the option, it doesn't really add much to the game (the only mods I ever really use are speed ones) except screw you up more than a large stream of unnecessary 16th's already does.

ITG is not crappy. I find their stepcharts really fun. DDR is starting to lose their taste in good stepcharts that flow with the music now. The music in DDR is way better than ITG, but ITG has amazing stepcharts, regardless if their hard.

The arcade I go to the most often is Gattiland, and they only have an ITG machine (well, and Pump It Up, but you get my point), so I guess ITG has a special place in my heart. = 3

About the only thing I don't like about it is the life bar. You can own the song but still fail if you don't get past a certain stream or set of steps.
