Probably the saddest scene I ever saw was in the Naruto movie at the Snow Country when the tortured villagers and wahts his name unloads his train full of kunai... totally brutal.

I've had Grave of the Fireflies for about a week now, but I haven't watched it yet... I'm going to watch it now... I'll write an opinion on it when it's over.

Yeah. I didn't find it that sad really (not sad enough to cry). Also, if it didn't tell you at the beginning that they die, then it probably would have been sad. But, unfortunately, you know what's going to happen right from the beginning.

It was a nice ending, but it could have created more emotional impact.

Definitely the saddest for me was Air...when Michiku dies/disappears. The whole anime was sad, in a way, but that episode was really touching.

And episode 24 of Negima, where Asuna dies. It was really sad, how they had the whole episode dedicated to her, and such. Then, when I saw episodes 25 & 26 in SPANISH SUBS??? :shoch: it was really and ending killer. I mean, seriously. Just poor form of an ending. Completely took away all emotions of, "Oh, I'll miss Asuna". :-/

I have to say the only anime that ever made me sad was Samurai X - Trust and Betrayel at the very end. I won't spoil it, but it's something that I want everyone to watch, it's simply brilliant.
