What's the most impressive feat of DDRship you've ever seen?

Last friday I went to the arcade, holy crap, after all this time thinking that the Legend of Max was tough, I saw PSM Oni. OMFG, I dont know how he actually passed tha song. One of my friends (who is really good) didnt last more than 30 seconds. Oh yeah and the guy AA'd the song. And now, Im currently practicing So Deep on heavy, because I love those kinds of steps.

so deep is fun i guess but i'd say LOM is just as hard as PSM. i think PSM is much more dependant on knowing when the stopping parts come. That's just dumb to me, its a song eater gotta play more than a few times to be able to pass, it's nearly impossible to pass it the first time without prior knowledge of when slow downs come

The most impressive thing I saw wuz a 25-30 year old guy AA every song he played in the regular cycle thing (4 Stages) on DDRMAX2. He played songs like Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) and So Deep and songs like that (can't remember the others). He got to the Extra Stage and passed it with a B!! I wuz like Holy $#!+!!!!

he... is that so. i just read in a gaming mag that the record for playing ddr was 37 and a half hours set by Drew Gamble. now that blows Aaron Sprow time out of the water. and yes its in Guiness now.

Old news....that's from like...months ago. Drew Gamble set the record in some place called Bend, he was gonna do it with his other friend (can't remember the name) but the other guy failed playing Sakura on Heavy. hence, all these other dudes jumped up and started playing vs. with drew....blahblahblah yaddy yaddy yaddy you get the point. Somebody told me that Spazzbite was there to watch >.>

ANYWAYS, back on topic, I've seen a shitload of people play heavy, but never seen anyone own HVAM the way you talked about it. That song is like insane on heavy. It gets even sadder because, NEVER IN MY LIFE have I seen someone pass a song on ONI small city, less people, more sucky people :P

there's a LOT of good people where I play though (i just found out the arcade I play out just got 3(!!) new DDR machines )

You CAN do Naoki Standard and get all perfects. Its on DDR MAX2 Nonstop, which has no Marvelous steps. Now if it was on extreme it would be damn near impossible. As for myself, I can AA My Summer Love on Heavy x2, Ill try to do it again and put a pic up for you, as well as I got one good on Spin the Disc, Heavy, no mods. I use the black plastic home pad with the colored light up buttons. Like I said ill try to do it again, but I'm not a fully developed player yet, gimmie a couple o months and I can get a bunch of AA pics.

i cant even say ive seen anything that impressive...one guy got to PSM Oni (maybe it was heavy) on the paranoia brothers oni course...and he didnt end up passing it, so it wasnt all that impressive
