I just can't read anything that way. I can still PA some really, really easy songs, but I just can't read stuff very fast that way. I've tried, I can't even do as well on standard now as I could do after playing it for 2 months, back before I discovered reverse.

The last time I played a song in SM on standard, that I can remember anyway, I scored 97 million...out of a possible 200 million, on a song I've scored about 190 million on with reverse, but at least I passed.

Edit: I don't have a problem on reading the PA, I'm just saying telling the standard scrollers to switch to reverse isn't the answer.

Well, if you have the potential to be in the top 100, better yet top 10, then you have the potential to learn reverse scroll or just deal with it.

Well the only thing currently that allows you to distinguish good from perfect is during jacks or really high BPM songs, where if your eyes are good, you'll see a white border appear around the arrow.

I'm not going to learn reverse scroll.

It's not as much of a problem for me anyway, since I typically know where I get goods, or can at least figure it out afterwards.

I can too, on slow stuff.. but not on fast songs

the fact is you're one of the few who can tell where you get goods.. as you are one of the few to do 99% of the things done in FFR

                Woo. I play reverse.
I can't do standard. So if we do change it, don't make it worse for reverse players, please. :]

Hmm, I'm still new to all this terminology. What's standard and reverse scrolling?

How exactly is screen cutting meant to help? I've tried it, but...I don't know if it's something that helps after getting used to it or just on certain songs or what. Clarification on these things would be great.

Re: A way for screencutters to see their PA.

Standard scrolling is when the arrows go up. Reverse is when they go down.
Screencutting helps on every song once you're used to it.

I think there should be some kind of counter, off in the blue part of the screen to the right , where it could show your miss count, boos and etc , but that would probably be hard to put in and such.

                          Lol @ you.

I couldn't FC Klung Klung when it came out. I tried screen cutting some while later, and first try got 12 goods. I could AAA it now.

If I play normally on klung klung, unless I really focus my eyes up top, I'll still miss, and that goes for other hard songs too.

                            I can't play worth crap fullscreen. I have a hard time FC'ing 3.5's fullscreen.

                            I NEED screenshrink to play...lol.

due to this problem, i got used to screenshrinking only up to the point where i can see the very tip of the letters of perfect/good. with peripheral vision i usually see where i get the good.
