DRAWING THE SQUARE WASN'T RIGHT?!?! Damn, I'm all out... unless he breaks the toothpick into four pieces and makes a square? Or maybe this:
THERE! I made a square with my fingers just now. Does that count?
Answer to the marrying 3 women is that he's the minister.
And 8 was correct to my riddle (After he makes his 7 "new" cigarettes, he can then again recycle 7 more butts for one more cigarette)Last edited by EI_Tizzy; 02-4-2007, 01:55 PM.Only at the FFR Quidditch World Cup...

Re: The Riddle Thread
The word "queue", which is pronounced like "cue". Removing "ueue" leaves "q".
Now for mine:A father and a son got into a car accident. The father went home to rest. The son was taken to the hospital for minor surgery. The doctor came in and said: "I shouldn't do any surgery on this boy because he's my son." How can that be?Reverse for life!Comment

Just to reiterate my puzzle (which didn't get the answer I wanted). You have four toothpicks arranged in a plus sign. Move one toothpick to make a square. If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you ever tried.

Re: The Riddle Thread
Along the lines of guerre's puzzling method:
Arrange 6 toothpicks of equal length to create 4 triangles.
Guerre: too tough, I thought of 3 ver original answers, time for a hint plz
Edit: OMG I GOT IT!!
Move the right toothpick over vertically to the left toothpick and make a 4!

I'm a little bastard XD
My turn!
Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it,
Five in the middle is seen;
First of all figures, the first of all letters,
Take up their stations between.
Join all together, and then you will bring
Before you the name of an eminent king.
BTW, I don't know if anyone here uses Google to find answers to riddles, and if you do I hope Pac-Man comes to your house and eats you. It's wrong. Just use your goddamn brain!Only at the FFR Quidditch World Cup...

Re: The Riddle Thread
(( Uh, well, people have been asking and answering different riddles at random, so, well, I feel like I can too... o.o ))
Well, putting one toothpick over another to create a cross, then putting the other four to make a small square around it so the cross goes through corners... That'd make six triangles, but there'd be some extra parts of the toothpicks that aren't a part of the triangles.....
I have three riddles... two quick ones and a long one.
How can you make half of twelve equal to seven?
How can eleven plus one equal ten?
Longer one:
Three identical equalateral triangles are inscribed with circles. Which case provides the circles with the largest total area? 1) An incircle ant two smaller circles, 2) Three identical circles of the largest size possible, 3) One big circle and two smaller ones.Comment
